Schulenburg, Texas - On Tuesday, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Texas Highway Patrol took Miguel Mejia-Ramos, 28, into custody near Schulenburg after he was located by cellphone GPS driving a stolen vehicle in Fayette County. The suspect was making phone calls to Mexico and when he turned his cellphone on again, authorities were able to locate Mejia-Ramos.
He was wanted in connection for last Sunday's triple homicide of his two daughters, Yaslin Mejia, 1, Daniela Mejia, 2, and their mother, Daisy Garcia, 21.
The victims were found Sunday night around 7:00 p.m. stabbed multiple times in the torso and chest at their South Jamaican, Queens apartment, the NYC police reported.
