2nd Annual Puerto Rican Fest 2014 Attracts Hundreds Under The 35th Street Viaduct

Milwaukee area Boricuas gathered for their annual festival in Milwaukee's South Side Silver City area.

Milwaukee, WI - The 2nd Annual Puerto Rican Fest 2014 ended on Saturday after a day long festivity by the local Puerto Rican (PR) community. The event was sponsored by PR festival organizer, Yussef Morales and the Puerto Rican Empowerment Group of WI. Hundreds of people gathered under the S. 35th Street viaduct in Arlington Heights Park for the festival.
Local DJ's played Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. A car show and motorcycle exhibit was provided by local collectors and enthusiasts. A variety of vendors also provided food and Puerto Rican items at the one-day event.
