Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works drained thousands of gallons of water in the South side. A city water works employee around 7:00 p.m. opened fire hydrants between W. Mitchell Street and W. Lincoln Ave. in order to clean the system.
Complaints from the South side indicated the water was dirty and the city had workers going around the South side opening the hydrants to flush the dirty water out from the system.
