Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Robert "Bob" Donovan, the Alderman for the 8th District announced at Serb Hall that he is a candidate for Milwaukee Mayor. He submitted his declaration of candidacy paper work to the Milwaukee Election Commission. Ald. Donovan will challenge Mayor Tom Barrett in the 2016 Spring election.
Donovan told supporters, that Milwaukee is facing many challenges, almost everyday shootings and that certain neighborhoods are run by thugs. He is the first candidate to actually file a declaration of candidacy with the city's election commission. Barrett is expected to run for re-election.
