Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday, Damian Carmona Jr., 29, was shot around 12:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of W. Lincoln Ave. in a drive-by. Multiple shots were fired by an unidentified suspect. Carmona Jr. was taken to a local hospital by a relative and is expected to survive, according to police.
Police blocked off the 1500 block of W. Lincoln Ave. to look for evidence. City sanitation workers had to be called to search a sewer for evidence. Apparently, the victim discarded some type of small item in the sewer after getting shot. Police were trying to recover the unidentified item.
Several suspects are being sought in connection with Carmona Jr.'s shooting and a third person related to the victim is being also sought. Police are investigating the drive-by shooting.
